A slice of summer doggie magic, frozen in time. This vibrant New Yorker cover from August 9, 2021, by artist Mark Ulriksen captures a moment of great canine anticipation in puzzle form.
It’s hard to imagine anything more irresistible than the plaintive, excited eyes of a dog begging for a treat. Ulriksen was able to capture some good friends in this puzzle art - his dog Ivy, the chocolate Lab as a puppy; the bichon poodle is his mom’s dog Maggie; the pug Ruby is his neighbor; and his friends’ beloved basset hound, Virgil. Enjoy puzzling with your favorite friend, furry or otherwise.
