Antique Redfern & Drakeford "Balmoral" China Creamer - England
Antique Redfern & Drakeford "Balmoral" China Creamer - England
A beautifully classic piece of English bone china, this antique Redfern & Drakeford “Balmoral” creamer pairs a crisp white ground with an elegant black geometric swag border.
Made by Redfern & Drakeford of Longton, Staffordshire, England, this piece dates to the early 20th century, during the company’s years of production from 1892 to 1933. The restrained black-and-white decoration has a wonderfully Edwardian feel - formal enough for afternoon tea, but simple enough to mix beautifully with other collected china.
Originally made for serving cream or milk, it would also be lovely filled with a few delicate stems or simply displayed among your favorite vintage finds. A little piece of English tableware history with an elegance that never really goes out of style.
