Vintage Hall “Cameo Rose” Fruit & Dessert Bowl - USA
Vintage Hall “Cameo Rose” Fruit & Dessert Bowl - USA
A sweet little piece of mid-century American tableware, this Hall “Cameo Rose” fruit & dessert bowl was designed by Mary Dunbar and produced by Superior Hall Quality China. Mary Dunbar was an American ceramic designer known for her mid-century floral patterns for Hall China, including the beloved “Cameo Rose” collection introduced in the 1950s.
The white ceramic is finished with a softly beaded rim and a delicate garland of green leaves and buds, centered with a single white rose. It’s a wonderfully pretty little bowl for fruit, dessert, berries, sauce, or simply a few small treasures on a bedside table.
Part of Hall’s discontinued Cameo Rose collection, produced circa 1951–1973, it has that lovely mid-century charm that feels surprisingly fresh today. Approximately 5¼" diameter.
