Vintage Hall “Cameo Rose” Dinner Plate - USA
Vintage Hall “Cameo Rose” Dinner Plate - USA
A beautifully simple piece of mid-century American china, this Hall “Cameo Rose” dinner plate was designed by Mary Dunbar and features the pattern’s signature white rose surrounded by a delicate green leaf-and-bud garland. Mary Dunbar was an American ceramic designer known for her mid-century floral patterns for Hall China, including the beloved “Cameo Rose” collection introduced in the 1950s.
The softly beaded rim gives the otherwise clean white plate just enough detail, making it easy to dress up or down. At 10¼ inches, it is a generous dinner size - lovely for a proper supper, Sunday lunch, or a table layered with other vintage finds.
Made by Superior Hall Quality China and produced circa 1951–1973, this discontinued pattern has a wonderfully understated mid-century feel.
