Floral Arranging Class with Dana Walton of Walton Family Flowers
Thursday, February 12 · 6–8 PM
$100
Step into a world of blooms and beauty with a floral arranging experience at George & Fred, led by Dana Walton, owner of Walton Family Flowers - a beloved micro flower farm in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
The $100 ticket includes sips, small bites, and a beautiful floral arrangement you’ll create and take home in a gorgeous ceramic vessel.
The Style
We’re leaving behind stiff “grocery-store” bouquets and embracing a gathered, high-end look, the kind you see in dreamy cottage interiors and glossy décor magazines. Our color story for the evening is Moody Mauve - think dusty rose, deep burgundy, and creamy white tones that feel warm and sophisticated.
What You’ll Create & Take Home
Each guest will design a lush centerpiece in a matte white ceramic vessel that you take home, a timeless piece meant to live on your coffee table long after the class ends. Instead of floral foam or tape, you’ll learn to arrange using kenzan, professional flower frogs loved by designers for their airy, architectural results. These frogs are sustainable and reusable, and yes, you’ll take your kenzan home to keep creating magazine-worthy arrangements.
Beautiful flowers, a fun setting, and a truly lovely experience. This event is a perfect way to celebrate creativity, friendship, Galentine’s, Valentine’s, the promise of spring, and the simple joy of flowers.
