About Lynn Mocarski Lynn Mocarski is a classically trained painter with a BFA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she studied under celebrated artists Rita Deanin Abbey and John McCracken. She later refined her craft through Trompe L’Oeil and figure-study work in New York, developing the meticulous technique she’s known for today.
Working from her Naperville, IL studio, Lynn creates richly detailed oil paintings and graphite works, with exhibitions ranging from the Corcoran Museum of Art’s juried show to two solo exhibitions at Washington D.C.’s Alex Gallery. Her 2024 show, Such Beauty, at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, earned wide acclaim, and since 2020 her pieces have been featured at the gift shops of the Michelin three-star Inn at Little Washington. Lynn’s work has been highlighted twice by The Washington Post.
