"Whale, Mermaid and Her Dog" Framed Giclée Print by Melinda Kirkpatrick

A curious sea tale with a cast of characters straight from the imagination. In this whimsical print by New England artist Melinda Kirkpatrick, a mermaid, a great whale, and her faithful dog come together in a wonderfully unexpected underwater adventure. Playful and full of personality, it feels like a page from a storybook discovered on a seaside bookshelf.

Part of the imaginative world of Flowerness Farm, Kirkpatrick’s work blends playful characters, thoughtful details, and a love of storytelling. This giclée print of her original artwork is on museum-grade fine art paper with archival inks, is signed by the artist on the back and is presented behind glass in a rustic frame. A delightful addition to any wall that could use a little maritime charm.

About Flowerness Farm
Nestled in Brimfield, Massachusetts, Flowerness Farm is a creative retreat founded by artist Melinda Kirkpatrick and her partner, writer Doug Kirkpatrick - a place where art, nature, and the written word come together. Raised in central Massachusetts among the beautiful flower gardens tended by her artist mother, Melinda brings a lifelong love of nature to her work. Her paintings are rich with distinctive color, whimsical details, and a distinctly New England sensibility, often drawing inspiration from the region’s history and literature. Thoughtful captions, literary quotations, and even Doug’s own poetry and prose find their way into her work, adding another layer to each image.
